Shikhar Dhawan is an Indian international cricketer. He was born on 25 , December , 1985. Shikhar Dhawan Nick name is Dhawan. He was from  He is  left-handed opening batsman and an occasional right-arm off break bowler, he plays for Delhi in domestic cricket and Delhi Capitals in the IPL. He played for the Indian Under-17 and Under-19 teams before making his first-class debut for Delhi in November 2004.

Shikhar Dhawan is one of the 15 players who have been named in the India squad to play the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 in England and Wales. Shikhar Dhawan, who made his one-day international debut on 20-Oct-10, had played 128 ODI matches until the 2019 World Cup. In the 127 innings he batted in, he had scored a total of 5355 runs, having faced 5709 balls, at an average of 44.63 and a strike rate of 93.8. He was unbeaten in 7 of those innings. His highest score in an innings was 143. He had 16 centuries and 27 half-centuries to his name.
